As the Senior Manager, New Product Development at Zetwerk, you will play a pivotal role in Managing team, creation and launch of new products. You will leverage your expertise in manufacturing processes, including Die Casting, Extrusions, Machining, Forging, and Sheet Metal, to ensure the successful development of high-quality components and assemblies. In addition, you will be responsible for assessing the feasibility of new projects, managing suppliers, and working closely with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Development: Lead and oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to market launch, ensuring that projects are completed on time.
2. Manufacturing Expertise: Apply your extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, including Die Casting, Extrusions, Machining, Forging, and Sheet Metal, to optimize product designs for manufacturability.
3. Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Collaborate with teams to implement DFM principles and improving the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
4. Feasibility Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to determine the technical and economic feasibility of new product ideas, providing recommendations and mitigating potential risks.
5. Customer and Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customer and Suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality components and materials while negotiating favorable terms.
6. Quality Control: Implement robust quality control measures to ensure that all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design,
engineering, procurement, and marketing, to align project objectives and drive successful product launches.
8. Project Management: Develop and manage project timelines, and resources effectively to meet project milestones and deliverables.
9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the manufacturing and product development process.
Job Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
  • 13 -20 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, with a strong in some of these commodities Die Casting, Extrusions, Machining, Forging, and Sheet Metal.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing new product development projects from concept to market launch.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Team Management is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.
  • Experience with quality control processes and methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative environment.
