Role & Responsibilities:
  • Preparing EHS Plan, ERP Plan for the site, incorporating/implementing   all action plan needed in site for successful implementation of Integrated   Management System.
  • Review and monitor monthly EHS activity   schedule for Site.
  • Support for the resources required for the   project sites coordinating with site safety supervisors.
  • Prepare SOP, safe work Method Statement for giving   recommendation for Safe Operation in methodology.
  • Prepare and review the HIRA periodically.
  • Schedule periodic Audit plan and carry out   internal audits for the active sites. Support the sites to close the NCRs   raised.
  • Making review of EHS Performance indicator   and taking necessary action to increase the EHS performance.
  • Reviewing Training needs and making   arrangement for Internal and External training.
  • Preparing Legal and Statutory Register for   Site, reviewing on implementation of Legal and Statutory Requirement.
  • Conduct periodic site tours and highlight the   site safety performance to the site management and to the Head-Safety.
  • Prepare EHS plan relevant to the scope of the   project and support the site management for submission and approval from   client.
  • Consolidate Monthly EHS Report detailing the   Safety Statistics, Incident/First Aid, Activities Done, planned for next   month from all the project sites and communicating the report to Head-EHS.
  • Conducting Accident/Incident Investigation   for finding the root cause, taking/communicating Corrective and Preventive   action for the same.
  • Coordinate with the site team for transfer of   team members according to their competency to other required sites.
Job Requirement
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology (Electrical or Mechanical).
  • Postgraduate Diploma / Diploma / Master’s Degree in Industrial Safety.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred experience in Railway projects involving civil works, structures, track works, Overhead Electrification (OHE), signaling, and telecom systems.
  • Must have worked as a Safety Officer on at least three railway projects.
