Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the solar design team in the preparation and development of designs for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including layouts, single-line diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Oversee the entire design process from concept to final execution, ensuring that designs are compliant with relevant industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of designs with project implementation.
- Ensure that all design work is completed within project timelines and budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Review and approve design calculations, technical specifications, and drawings.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies, to gather input and approvals for designs
- Develop and implement design processes, quality control, and risk management strategies to ensure project success.
- Mentor and develop the design team to enhance technical skills and improve design capabilities.
- Expertise in solar PV system design and engineering tools.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, solar technologies, and regulatory standards.
- Ability to drive process improvements and implement industry best practices.
- Strong client-facing skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
