Job Title: Master Data Executive

Job Location: Bangalore, India

Job Brief & Responsibilities:

Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries regarding master data, ensuring alignment with standard operating procedures (SOPs) within stipulated timelines
Maintain accurate master data for Material Master, Customer/Vendor Master, and BOM Master through comprehensive data quality checks.
Ensure accurate taxation information within master data records, including tax rates, HSN codes, and compliance requirements.
Conduct regular reviews and audits to evaluate the integrity of master data sets as part of data governance protocols.
Analyze business processes and challenges to provide tailored solutions utilizing master data management principles
Enforce adherence to SOPs through peer-to-peer audits, fostering a culture of compliance and excellence.
Collaborate closely with the Tech team to implement upgrades to the master data management module.
Establish and facilitate cross-functional relationships with Vendor, Customer, Material, Finance, and Data Governance stakeholders to align vision and expectations.
Conduct timely quality audits to validate processes, ensuring the execution of error-free and high-quality data standards.
Flexible to work in Indian or UK shifts ( 8 PM to 5:00 AM IST) as per work requirements
Takeup Master Data Management related activities in New ERP implementation

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate/Postgraduate with min 3 years experience in Master Data Management
Primary Industry knowledge in material management for Industrial , Consumer sectors
Understanding of production processes (Material & BOM Masters) is a must

Preferred skills / qualities :

Highly motivated and bring both the practical experience of implementing solutions in Master Data Management & Data Governance and the flair for developing transformations and new insights.
Meaningful experience in MDM consulting and data Governance with knowledge across multiple data domains
Good analytical skills for reporting
Experience in timely managing customer requests for master data
Good understanding of Production processes & materials
Ability to identify process improvement areas
Influencing skills, Creative thinking/innovative mindset
Good eye for business and understanding of business issues across multiple sectors
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the confirmed ability to connect with all levels including management and retail partners.
Understanding of standards and processes in ERP such as Microsoft Dynamics F&O would be an added advantage
