Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough reviews of loan and working capital applications for OEM MSMEs and infrastructure projects, analyzing financial statements, GST returns, bank statements, cash flows, project viability reports, and collateral (e.g., machinery, land). Compute key ratios such as Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR), Current Ratio, and Loan-to-Value (LTV) to determine creditworthiness.
  •  Identify sector-specific risks, including supply chain disruptions in OEM manufacturing, project delays in infrastructure, and macroeconomic factors like interest rate fluctuations. Recommend approvals, declines, or structured enhancements, adhering to internal policies and RBI's MSME lending norms.
  • Ensure underwriting processes comply with RBI regulations (e.g., MSME Development Act, Basel III norms), IRDAI guidelines where applicable, and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements. Prepare detailed Credit Appraisal Memos (CAMs) and MIS reports for senior management and regulatory submissions.
  • Oversee assigned portfolios for early warning signals of stress, collaborate with recovery teams on NPA management, and contribute to stress testing for infrastructure exposures.
Job Requirement
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (CMA), or MBA in Finance preferred.
  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience in credit underwriting or risk assessment, with at least 4 years focused on MSME/OEM lending or infrastructure/project finance in Indian banks, NBFCs, or financial institutions.
  • Demonstrated success in handling high-value exposures, including CGTMSE-covered MSME loans and term loans for infrastructure under schemes like ECLGS or PMEGP.
  • Strong knowledge of RBI circulars, MSME classification criteria, and sector-specific regulations (e.g., environmental clearances for infrastructure).
