Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the civil and structural design of solar power plants, including foundations for solar modules, inverter stations, transformer pads, access roads, and other site infrastructure.
  • Develop and review detailed civil and structural design drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports for solar projects.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers and other disciplines to ensure designs are integrated and meet overall project requirements.
  • Perform structural analysis of foundations and steel structures to ensure safety, stability, and load-bearing capacity under various environmental conditions.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, industry standards, and local regulations.
  • Provide technical oversight during construction to ensure the integrity of the design is maintained and resolve any site-related issues.
  • Lead the preparation of cost estimates and support procurement processes for civil and structural components.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the most suitable design solutions for each project.
  • Ensure that project designs are optimized for cost-effectiveness and are aligned with project timelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in solar technologies, industry trends, and best practices in civil and structural design for solar projects.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and design teams.
Job Requirement
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in civil and structural design, with a strong background in Solar EPC projects.
  • Proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
  • Expertise in solar EPC project design, focusing on civil and structural elements.
  • Proficient in structural design software and CAD tools.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project coordination abilities.
