Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Quality Manager to lead and oversee the quality management system (QMS) for our head office and multiple project portfolio within the oil and gas EPC sector.  The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of the QMS, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.  This role requires a strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Roles & Responsibilities :
  • QMS Development & Maintenance: Develop, implement, and maintain the company's QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 and other relevant industry standards (e.g., API, ASME). Ensure compliance with client requirements and regulatory obligations.
  • Project Quality Oversight: Provide quality oversight and guidance to multiple project teams, ensuring adherence to the QMS and project-specific quality plans. Monitor project performance against quality metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Auditing & Assessments: Plan and conduct internal audits of the QMS and project sites to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Manage external audits conducted by certification bodies and clients.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, utilizing tools such as root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and lessons learned.
  • Quality Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver quality training programs to employees to enhance their understanding of quality principles, procedures, and best practices. Promote a culture of quality awareness and ownership throughout the organization.
  • Document Control: Oversee the document control system, ensuring that all quality-related documents are properly controlled, maintained, and readily accessible.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Develop and implement a supplier quality management program to ensure that suppliers meet the required quality standards. Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on the performance of the QMS, including key quality metrics, audit findings, and improvement initiatives. Provide recommendations to senior management for enhancing the QMS.
  • Budget Management: Manage the quality department budget effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Client Interaction: Interact with clients to address quality-related issues and ensure client satisfaction. Participate in client audits and project quality meetings.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in industry regulations and standards, ensuring that the company's QMS remains compliant.
Job Requirement
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 12 years of experience in quality management within the oil and gas EPC industry. 
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant industry standards (e.g., API, ASME). 
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining QMS. 
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, tools, and techniques. 
  • Experience in conducting internal and external audits.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.   Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or equivalent certification preferred. 
  • Experience with document control systems and supplier quality management.
