Job Description

Lead and supervise all mechanical construction activities on-site, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications and schedule.
Oversee installation of mechanical systems, including static and rotating equipment, piping, and associated supports and accessories.
Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure smooth integration and avoid construction clashes.
Monitor mechanical progress, identify issues or delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule.
Promote and enforce strong HSE practices, ensuring all mechanical works are conducted under approved safety procedures and permits.
Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including punch list clearance, system walkdowns, and mechanical completion.
Ensure proper alignment, grouting, and torqueing as per vendor requirements.

Job Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
10–15 years of experience in oil and gas (preferably both EPC and site-based roles).
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical equipment and piping systems.
Proficient in interpreting engineering documents, P&IDs, and construction drawings.
Familiarity with international codes and standards: ASME, API, ANSI, NACE, etc.
Experienced with construction methodologies and mechanical completions in oil & gas projects.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
