Role: Senior Manager – New Product Development (NPD) / Engineering

As a Senior Manager in New Product Development at Zetwerk, you’ll lead the charge in bringing customer product requirements into reality. You’ll guide a team that thrives on coordination, problem-solving, and building meaningful relationships — all while ensuring that our global manufacturing network delivers on quality, timelines, and expectations.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Development

Lead a high-performing team focused on translating customer requirements into executed manufacturing projects.
Define clear objectives, track progress through key performance indicators, and create a culture of learning, accountability, and collaboration.

Product Development Oversight

Oversee the product development process — from initial scoping and feasibility analysis through sampling, validation, and launch.
Guide your team in working closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners to align on timelines, deliverables, and quality outcomes.

Supplier & Partner Collaboration

Identify and engage the most suitable manufacturing partners based on customer needs and technical feasibility.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent performance, mutual growth, and proactive issue resolution.

Customer-Centric Execution

Act as a trusted partner to customers, helping them understand trade-offs, navigate timelines, and bring their designs to life through our network.
Ensure clarity, responsiveness, and reliability at every stage of the development process.

Agile Project Leadership

Lead multiple projects across industries and geographies, ensuring timely execution while adapting to change.
Balance priorities and resources with a hands-on approach to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Risk & Quality Alignment

Partner with quality and supply chain teams to de-risk programs early in the cycle, ensuring consistent output across partners.
Advocate for first-time-right execution, using structured processes and proactive communication.

Job Requirement

What You Bring?

13–20 years of experience in new product development, manufacturing coordination, or project/program management in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Background in engineering or manufacturing-related disciplines with familiarity across production processes like Die Casting, Extrusions, Machining, Forging, and Sheet Metal
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — you lead through influence, empathy, and clarity
Proven ability to manage partner ecosystems and complex stakeholder environments
A strategic mindset with the ability to simplify complexity and drive alignment
High attention to detail, with a bias toward action and continuous improvement
A love for solving problems and making things happen — especially when multiple people, systems, and timelines are involved
