Role Overview

The Global Delivery Head – Solar PV Modules owns end-to-end delivery of solar PV modules to  domestic and international customers, with full accountability for delivery certainty, compliance,  cost, risk management, and customer trust.  The role is responsible for designing, operating, and continuously optimizing a multi-country  supply chain that meets stringent US and international regulatory, audit, and documentation  requirements, while delivering predictable outcomes across timelines, quality, margins, and cash  flow.  This position serves as the executive owner of delivery commitments and the face of execution  credibility for customers, auditors, and strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Global Delivery & Customer Commitment Ownership

  • Own end-to-end order-to-delivery execution for B2B, EPC, utility, and international  customers, including large US programs.
  • Act as executive SPOC for delivery assurance, customer governance, audits, and  escalations.
  • Ensure OTIF delivery, proactive communication, and rapid resolution of execution issues.
  • Lead customer audits and compliance reviews, ensuring right-first-time documentation and  timely closures.
  • Own escalation management and recovery plans in high-pressure delivery environments.
  • Support pre-sales discussions as execution authority, articulating delivery capability,  supply-chain design, and risk posture

2. Global Supply Chain Design & Optimization

  • Design and continuously optimize a multi-country supply chain across India, China, SEA,  and other non-China geographies.
  • Balance landed cost, compliance, lead time, and service levels across cells, modules, and  finished goods.
  • Lead tariff and trade optimization including BCD, ADD/CVD, rules of origin, customs  duties, and UFLPA.
  • Optimize incoterms, logistics routes, port strategies, bonded warehousing, and last-mile  delivery.
  • Drive inventory discipline, working-capital efficiency, and cash-flow predictability.

3. Dynamic Risk Management & Resilience

  • Proactively identify and manage geopolitical, regulatory, supplier, logistics, and execution  risks.
  • Execute mitigation strategies including alternate sourcing, buffers, commercial hedges, and  contingency logistics.
  • Lead scenario planning (Plan A / B / C) and own business-continuity and escalation  playbooks.

4. Strategic Partnerships & Capacity Models

  • Structure and govern contract manufacturing, wet leases, co-manufacturing arrangements,  and joint ventures.
  • Secure capacity, resilience, and cost advantage without disproportionate capital exposure.
  • Build long-term supplier partnerships with clear governance, performance metrics, and  risk-sharing mechanisms.

5. Manufacturing, Quality, Compliance & EHS

  • Provide operational oversight of contract manufacturing covering yield, quality, uptime,  OEE, and scrap.
  • Ensure compliance with ALMM, BIS, IEC, UL, UFLPA, and customer-specific  requirements.
  • Lead regulatory inspections, third-party audits, and customer audits.
  • Own deviation management, CAPA closure, and continuous improvement.
  • Enforce EHS standards across manufacturing, logistics, and partner operations.
  • Advance sustainability and ESG requirements including responsible sourcing, traceability,  and waste reduction.

6. Financial, Systems & People Leadership

  • Own delivery-linked operational P&L, margins, EBITDA, and execution discipline.
  • Partner with sales and commercial teams on pricing, contract structuring, and execution  feasibility.
  • Build and lead high-performance teams across delivery planning, supply chain, logistics,  quality, and manufacturing governance.
  • Establish operating rhythms, KPIs, and governance forums.
  • Implement and scale ERP, MES, and supply-chain dashboards for real-time visibility.

Key Success Metrics

  • OTIF delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Audit success rate and right-first-time documentation.
  • Lowest compliant landed cost per Wp.
  • Supply-chain resilience and risk-event recovery time.
  • Inventory turns and cash-conversion cycle.
  • EBITDA margins and realized cost savings.
  • Safety, quality, and regulatory compliance scores.
  • New proposal conversion rate
