Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Review RFQs, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for structural steel fabrication, painting, and erection.
  • Perform quantity take-offs from structural drawings and 3D models.
  • Evaluate material requirements, fabrication hours, subcontracting, and logistics costs.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, and project teams during bid preparation.
  • Identify project risks, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities.
  • Prepare commercial and technical bid documentation within project timelines.
Job Requirement
  • Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
  • 5–8 years of experience in estimation for structural steel fabrication projects.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, painting, and erection methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret structural drawings and project specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation tools. Knowledge of Tekla, AutoCAD, or similar software is an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
