Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and strategic leader to head the Design & Engineering function for our Energy & Resources division across Oil & Gas and Minerals & Metals projects. The role will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, driving design excellence, ensuring timely project execution, and delivering high-quality EPC solutions for large-scale industrial projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the complete Design & Engineering function for EPC projects across Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Minerals & Metals sectors.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams including Process, Mechanical, Piping, Civil & Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Project Engineering.
• Drive engineering strategy, design optimization, standardization, value engineering, and project execution excellence.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables in line with project schedules, quality standards, and client requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Projects, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning teams for seamless project execution.
• Lead client interactions, technical discussions, engineering reviews, and stakeholder management.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, safety regulations, and best engineering practices.
• Develop engineering capabilities, mentor teams, and build a high-performance engineering organization.
• Support business growth through technical proposals, bid evaluations, project planning, and engineering estimations.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/Civil or related disciplines).
• 18+ years of experience in EPC engineering with significant exposure to Oil & Gas and/or Minerals & Metals projects.
• Proven experience in leading large multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing complex industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle, engineering management, design coordination, and project execution.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in handling global/large-scale industrial projects will be preferred.
